J-type thermocouple temperature range
J type thermocouple), also known as iron-copper thermocouple, is also a cheap metal thermocouple.
The nominal chemical composition of its positive electrode (JP) is pure iron, and the nominal chemical composition of its negative electrode (JN) is copper-nickel alloy, which is often ambiguously called copper-copper. Its nominal chemical composition is 55% copper and 45% nickel, and a small amount of very important elements such as manganese, cobalt and iron.
Although it is called copper-copper, it is different from nichcr copper-copper and copper-copper copper-copper, so it cannot be replaced by EN and TN.
The covered measuring temperature range of iron-copper thermocouple is -200~1200℃, but the temperature range of 0~750℃ is usually used.
