Normally, we use thermocouple to measure the temperature, and working environment is not so high, we will use PVC for insulation it is economic and high cost efficient. But for some special working condition, such as steel factory, glass factory, petrochemical plant, we need to face more than 200 degree working environment, the working temperature is quite high, this cable can bear 260 degrees. Please find the insulation is Kapton and usually we call this PTFE, which is good for high temperature, for ptfe we can use different colors to identify the insulation color and outside we use polyimide tape for wrapping, one layer for 2 insulations, and the other layer is for overall. As we know, polyimide material also high temperature resistance, but only color gold, the advantage of polyimide is very thin, we can decrease the whole cable weight.
